This is a BEGINNERS introduction course
This course is an introduction to creating a virtual classroom space in Google Slides with an option to include a Bitmoji avatar. The completed space may be linked to or embedded in any webpage or online learning platform.
Instruction will be delivered via Zoom and Canvas.
Offering participants both synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities
Sessions will be a combination of live, facilitated sessions and online course resources.
$60 per participant
Participants must hold a clear renewable Georgia teaching certificate.
Principals may submit a list of recommended teachers.
Successful completion results in a WGRESA Virtual Educator Micro-credential.
Learning Outcomes:
Support and coaching for designing standards-based learning objects, units, and activities.
Increased confidence in conducting teaching and learning in a fully online or partially online format.
Increased knowledge of online teaching best practice and age-appropriate tasks
Increased knowledge of free resources and tools for instruction.
Live sessions will be each Monday from 4:30 - 5:30pm starting October 12, 2020.
If you are not able to attend the live sessions, you may watch the recording.
Participants must have a laptop and internet access
