The Hearing Officer and Tribunal Member training meets the requirements of state law and State Board of Education Rules.
The training includes an introduction to school law for tribunals, procedures that should be used in conducting hearings, and relevant cases that demonstrate the fundamentals of conducting hearings.
The course consists of a three lecture/discussion followed by a two hour project. Educators completing the course will receive a certification certificate and will receive annual updates for conducting hearings.
