Calling all building level administrators (Principal's, AP's, Special Education Leads, Lead Teachers)who support students with disabilities. Are you looking for a place where you can learn more about supporting students with disabilities, their families, their teachers and all service providers? We have a group for you!!!
In this Building Level Administrator Collaborative we will engage in collaborative conversations around best practices related to the following topics: - special education teacher evaluations - discipline/manifestations - collaborative planning - specialized instruction/UDL, serving as the LEA, assistive technology, master scheduling and other topics determined by the collaborative group.
Meeting Dates and Proposed Topics:
September 14th:
FTE Deep Dive, SDI: What it looks like in a Classroom Setting & the Role of a Building Level Administrator
November 9th:
Monitoring the Development & Implementation of compliant IEP’s,Progress Monitoring: Goals, Data Collection & Effective Practices
January 11th:
What I need to know about IDEA and Case Law as a Building Level Administrator, Discipline Scenarios: How to Leverage the IEP process and Address Code of Conduct/District Expectations
February 8th:
Continuous School Improvement: Focus on SWD, Master Schedule: Data Gathering & Organization
