PLEASE NOTE: If you are registering after 11/8/21, then the option for participation is VIRTUAL only. You will receive a link to the meeting prior to the session.
Participants will learn strategies for increasing vocabulary, emphasizing oral and written language appropriate for academic purposes across content areas.
The facilitator will share best practices, strategies, and resources to implement in vocabulary instruction, including Marzano's 6 step process for teaching academic vocabulary, understanding of Beck's Tiered Words, use of differentiated vocabulary lists, and free technology tools that support vocabulary instruction and word acquisition for all learners.
Participants may register for this face-to-face meeting held at West Georgia RESA (practicing social distancing), or if preferred, participants may register but then join us virtually via a link that will be sent prior to the session.
Participants will need a laptop and internet access.
