Calling all SLP’s who are looking for an opportunity to collaborate with their colleagues across our region. Join this collaborative community to discuss topics and issues related to providing speech and language services.

 

This learning opportunity is open to SLP’s and/or coordinators who are responsible for and/or participate in the management and implementation of speech and language services at the district and school level.
We will share resources, engage in collegial conversations and explore challenges.

 

Tentative topics include:
- ASHA updates and a review of current topics in the field of speech and language
- Federal and state updates related to Special Education
- Managing MTSS, RTI and Caseload Demands,
- Supporting Teachers with effective Tier II Interventions
- Childhood Apraxia
- New CDC Guidelines and Norms
- Report writing and analysis of data

- Other topics specific to our region

 

Please join us as we work to become a more collaborative group of professionals focused on providing our school systems/schools, IEP teams, teachers, students and parents with high quality services!

 

Meeting time: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

 

This group will meet face to face on the following dates:
- October 21, 2022
- December 2, 2022
- February 10, 2023


Participants will need a laptop for these sessions.
