This course is designed to equip Pre-Tapp and GaTAPP Candidates with the basic skills necessary to successfully begin the first days and weeks of a new school year.
Topics include establishing routines and procedures, lesson planning, The Code of Ethics for Georgia Educators, strategies to engage students, and understanding child development.
The fee for The Essentials of Effective Teaching is included in your GaTAPP tuition. Your first payment toward your tuition is due 9/30/2023. You will receive a financial agreement to sign during your Essentials of Effective Teaching course.
