Course Description More Details
This course is designed to assist individuals responsible for duties and responsibilities as a Section 504 coordinator. In this one-day training, attendees will 1) identify the laws that protect the rights of individuals with disabilities, 2) discuss the meaning of a disability under Section 504 and review an eligibility determination, 3) provide an overview of “FAPE” under Section 504, and 4) examine the differences and similarities among the laws that protect individuals with disabilities.
