Local Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate Teacher Training
"Educating the Able Learner"
This on-line course is designed to meet the state requirement for certifying Advanced Placement/ International Baccalaureate teachers.
Participants will receive a minimum of 10 contact hours during the course of instruction. The course entitled "Educating the Able Learner" will focus on the characteristics of gifted and other able learners AND appropriate instruction for this population.
AP/IB Local Training and State Rule 160-4-2-.38
State Regulations related to Program Delivery Models necessitate local training to Advanced Placement teachers (See Rule 160-4-2-.38, Page 6, Section c, Curriculum and Services to Be Provided, Paragraph 2).
Participants will need a laptop/tablet and internet access
